Features

Ataraxic Iteritas Vereor

Ataraxic Iteritas Vereor was inspired by our first Eurorack module, the Ataraxic Translatron that was meant to make the classic sounds of video games. We took that concept and expanded it into a fully parameterized synth voice. Sound creation starts with one of three bit tables shaped via variable interpolation that is scrolled through, amplitude modulated, folded, and distorted by the front panel controls, before being further dynamically and harmonically modified by the VCA/LPG and envelope section. Subby basses, metallic drones, unrelentingly digital timbres and more are all to be had from the AI. Guaranteed to make the fax machine jealous.

Features

  • 50+ presets
  • Unique bit-table-based additive/subtractive synthesis
  • Precise pitch-adjustment parameters: octave, semitone, cent
  • Mode selects one of three different sets of waveforms, arranged in bit tables
  • Waveform scrolls through waves in selected bit table
  • Time Mod creates sounds similar to hard sync or PWM
  • Shape adjusts waveform interpolation; sounds like classic wavemorphing
  • Soft Fold introduces polynomial-based asymmetrical wavefolding
  • Noise amplitude-modulates sounds and distorts signals in the time domain
  • Comb adds comb filtering and shifts the signal’s harmonic structure
  • Go even deeper with back-panel patching: all front-panel controls can be controlled via CV or self patched with the built-in Envelope output

Basimilus Iteritas Vereor

Basimilus Iteritas Vereor is a variation on our previous rack extension, Basimilus Iteritas. Where the original was percussive, BIV goes a more melodic direction with modified algorithms and the addition of a VCA/LPG dynamics section. Easily make plucks, pads, and strings, or tweak a little and synthesize metallic drones, synthetic choirs, sound effects.

Features

  • 35+ presets
  • Precise pitch adjustment parameters: octave, semitone, cent
  • Additive and FM-based synthesis algorithms for organic sound creation
  • Morph continuously blends all oscillator shapes through sine, triangle, saw, and square
  • Noise mixes white noise in with the oscillators
  • Fold shapes the sound through an infinifolder
  • Harmonics knob controls the decay of individual harmonics
  • Spread shifts the frequency relationship of all oscillators
  • VCA/LPG and Envelope section allow for further dynamic and harmonic shaping of sounds
  • Go even deeper with back-panel patching: all front-panel controls can be controlled via CV or self patched with the built-in Envelope output

Cursus Iteritas Vereor

Cursus Iteritas Vereor is a synthesizer that creates sound from a dynamically generated wavetable. It gives the user spectral-like controls in three different modes based on different conceptualizations of frequency: Fourier, which uses sine waves; Daubechies, using wavelets; and Walsh mode, using the Walsh transform. CIV parametrizes a wide variety of sounds, but because the sounds are all based off of orthogonal functions, it has a musical tone structure and can produce an extremely wide variety of harmonic sounds. CIV can be shaped to create gentle plucks and pads but excels at organic and synthetic basses and aggressive tones.

Features

  • 40+ presets
  • Unique dynamically generated wavetable synthesis engine
  • Precise pitch adjustment parameters: octave, semitone, cent
  • Modify and shape internal wavetable generation with the Center, Edge, Fold, and Mode parameters
  • Change the harmonic layout and structure of the wavetable post-generation with the Width, Parity and Tilt controls
  • Shape and further control dynamics with the VCA/LPG and Envelope section
  • Go even deeper with back-panel patching: all front-panel controls can be controlled via CV or self patched with the built-in Envelope output

Loquelic Iteritas Vereor

Loquelic Iteritas Vereor is inspired by our rack extension (and Eurorack module) Loquelic Iteritas Percido. We loved the aggressive, gnarly, and gross sounds we designed the LIP for, but had an inkling that if we tamed down the core sound-generation algorithms, we could. The result as a complementary, melodic rack extension. LIV’s deceptively simple dual-oscillator sound generation engine excels at creating an incredibly diverse sonic palette of tones never before imagined.

Features

  • 45+ presets
  • Precise pitch adjustment per oscillator: octave, semitone, cent
  • Three selectable synthesis algorithms dictate how LIV’s two oscillators interact and modulate each other for complex sounds
  • Morph, Damp, Fold, and Mod control each algorithm’s parameters for dynamic and easy sound creation
  • Oscillators can be synced or independent for further sound possibilities
  • Sounds are further dynamically and harmonically shaped in the VCA/LPG and Envelope section
  • Go even deeper with back-panel patching: all front-panel controls can be controlled via CV or self patched with the built-in Envelope output

Manis Iteritas Vereor

Manis Iteritas Vereor was inspired but our Eurorack module and earlier Rack Extension Manis Iteritas. The original is known for its untamed, aggressive edge. Manis Iteritas Vereor moves in a more controlled and tonal direction (while keeping its signature aggressive edge). Utilizing its famed six-operator saw-based additive and phase-modulation synthesis algorithms, MIV creates sounds ranging from beautiful organs, pads, and plucks to experimental and noisy sounds like you’ve never heard before.

Features

  • 40+ presets
  • Precise pitch adjustment parameters: octave, semitone, cent
  • Skin and Metal selects additive or phase-modulation synthesis modes
  • Unique Saw Mod and Profundity controls shape width and create chorusing, noisy tones
  • LPF and Smash control filtering and wavefolding for a geographical convergence of two contrasting types of harmonic shaping
  • Tame and shape the dynamic and harmonic structure of sounds further with the VCA/LPG and Envelope sections
  • Go even deeper with back-panel patching: all front-panel controls can be controlled via CV or self patched with the built-in Envelope output

Sinc Iter Vereor

Sinc Iter Vereor is a powerful synthesizer hidden behind a deceptively simple interface. This wavemorphing subtractive synth uses familiar controls to create unusual sounds different from what you’d expect from a similar package. Noise mode incorporates an adjustable-bandwidth “artifactful” noise source (similar to Perlin noise). All modes also incorporate a wave folder. Focusing on harmonic structure and waveshape, SIV allows for precise tone creation from simple and melodic to all-out noisy and unapologetically digital.

Features

  • 30+ presets
  • Simple controls: easy to use with surprising depth and character
  • 3 oscillator algorithms for diverse sound creation: Plain, Super, and Noise
  • Tone control continuously morphs the wave’s timbre dependent on the selected mode
  • Further shape dynamic and harmonic structure of your sound via the VCA/LPG and Envelope sections
  • Go even deeper with back-panel patching: all front-panel controls can be controlled via CV or self patched with the built-in Envelope output
